How To Contribute

SARCOA needs your help to support and maintain the services we provide to older Alabamians of the southeast Alabama area. Through your generosity and caring, more of our frail elderly citizens can be helped with increased independence and a better quality of life.

Your contribution is greatly appreciated, whether through cash, real estate or in-kind gifts and in whatever amount. All gifts to our agency are fully tax deductible.

There are several ways to help:

A one-time, monthly or annual cash donation can provide additional hot or frozen meals to a homebound Senior. Additional home services such as help with chores or housekeeping may also be provided with available resources.

Giving a Senior Memorial is a special way to express your sympathy and respect to the family of someone you loved and respected.

Show an honor to an individual with a Senior Tribute donation. Give a gift in the name of an individual to recognize a retirement, birthday, anniversary or other special occasion.

For Memorials and Tributes we will send an acknowledgement letter to the family or individual. Please complete the Donor Form and mail to us along with your gift. Your gifts will help provide the services needed by so many to maintain their independence.

Donations may also be made through planned giving. These gifts can make a significant contribution to improving the quality of life for seniors. One way to give is to include us in a bequest in your will or living trust. You may also give gifts of real estate, stock, retirement assets or life insurance for tax planning purposes. Please contact your attorney or estate planner about including us in your estate and tax planning.
